‘E’ is for Emotion.
Feeling and nurturing positive emotions is like practicing healthy exercise for the mind! The more we think and feel gratitude, appreciation, joy, love, happiness, the stronger we become. The stronger we are the more equipped we are and the more capable at managing our daily lives in the most productive way.
Negative emotions often serve to notify us of danger or other worrying instances that may need our cautious attention but whilst they can serve a purpose they also need to be kept well under control. Beyond serving as a notification in necessary circumstances there is little other good that comes from them.
Positive emotions however, can be incredibly beneficial to us both mentally and physically. Feeling good in our minds has a direct effect on our bodies and on our life in general.
The more we feel inspired, motivated, proud and the more we believe in ourselves, the more we are able to achieve and thus the happier and more successful we become (whatever our goals may be). And you never know where it may take you! Not to mention that the more we do it, the easier it becomes. Like most things, the more you practice feeling positive and nurturing those positive emotions, the easier it becomes to do and soon enough it is habit! Please try it… Push the negative thoughts, feelings and emotions away, and replace them with positive ones …even if you have to force yourself initially! I know it’s not always as easy as it seems at the start – but believe me, it will be worth it! Just try and see how good it makes you feel…
